Miguel Torres is a senior trader on the convertible arbitrage investment team. Prior to joining Tenor in 2017, Miguel was Head of US Convertibles Sales and Trading at Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi and a Senior Position Trader at Deutsche Bank Securities focusing on convertible bonds and equity warrants. Miguel also has prior experience trading convertible securities at Wells Fargo and Thomas Weisel Partners, and began his career at UBS O’Connor trading listed equity options on the floor of the CBOE and later running the firm’s European, Asian, & Japanese convertible arbitrage effort. Miguel received a B.S in Economics from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
